June 11, 2010 - PRLog -- UCC Pushes Graphical Status Monitor Design to Maximize Statistics

United Central Control (UCC) has been instrumental in pushing the development of various statistical processes and now a new monitoring control center status monitor. This status monitor will have times of dispatch, operator statistics, alarm volumes, and lots of charting that will display in graphical format, all built into a graphical heads-up display. Also included will be thresholds for warnings and color changes that alert the center for various performance targets that display in a true active visual environment.

Ackerman Alarm Fne Tunes New Design of Windows Mobile Remote Service Device with Wet Signature Capture

The new Windows Mobile Remote Service Device will be released at the DICE Users Conference, and Ackerman Alarm has been driving the design to the point of pure productivity. Ackerman, known for their innovative role in many of the DICE Accounting applications and their extensive use of all the DICE products within the accounting and service application system, has really outdone themselves on this one. The product runs the service applications, collection of credit card information for closing of service transactions, and collection of a wet signature for storage with the transaction. The entire process ends with printing of a receipt in the field, and any service or installation documents.

Niscayah Pushes New Universal GPS Device Driver Built Around Central Station Automation System

With many commercial projects underway at DICE these days, Niscayah is pushing the technology edge in both video and GPS productivity for its clients. This new GPS engine will allow DICE to attach any type of GPS device to its engine, and allow quick and easy access to the new enterprise level mapping control engine that has recently been built into the OpenCORE product line of DICE automation. This new system is expected to be delivered by the end of the month to Niscayah and provides their commercial, industrial and retail sales teams a huge competitive advantage in the field.

GMS Instrumental in Development of NEW GPS PERS Device Software for Deployment of 100,000 Units

General Monitoring Services has recently finished a large scale PERS device project with DICE, built around the new DICE PBX running our automation software layer. GMS was instrumental in helping DICE to develop these panels to come directly into the phone switch, being decoded through the switch rather than the traditional method of sending to a receiver. The systems deliver the PERS two way signal to an alarm operator, its GPS location, and the associated alarm information. This new system has been tested and will be deployed toward the end of August. This is another project where DICE has offloaded processing and custom software development onto our new PBX switch software layer, making voice and alarm automation one seamless package.
