scheduled for winter 2010, the center will be creating a Living History Quilt.
We invite senior participants age 60 and up, to come to the center and help with
the construction of a quilt that will adorn the walls of our new center and be unveiled
during our grand opening celebration.
This is a collabroative community endeavaor, open to new ideas and welcoming all levels of experience and technique.

In addition since 1994, the Center has operated a community based afterschool Intergenerational Program for 4th and 5th grade students from Hackensack elementary schools that meets 3 times per week, helping to reduce the incidence of high school dropouts, delinquency and children at risk in Hackensack
