Annang Development Congress (ADC), an emergent Think Tank and advocate for Public Policy and Sustainable Development in Akwa Ibom and Nigeria, in concert with other organizations of Annang extraction in the Diaspora and the world over, wish to state as follows:

Whereas His Excellency, Chief Dr. Godswill Obot Akpabio is a de-tribalized Akwa Ibomite of Annang heritage,

Whereas as governor, he has outperformed himself in all aspects of governance, leadership and infrastructural development,

Whereas a recent national poll of best Governors, placed him among the best in Nigeria,

Whereas the Nigerian Government in Abuja recognizes his administrative excellence, pointing to him as an example for other governors to emulate,

Whereas he has taken and continues to take key actions steps to unify all of Akwa Ibom including those in the diaspora, and has a clear vision for making Akwa Ibom the first Modern State in Nigeria,

Whereas Annang Development Congress (ADC) and Nto Annang Foundation, in recognition of his administrative revolution and transformative leadership in Akwa Ibom, at the Akwa Ibom State Association National Convention in Washington, DC, honored him with a Resolution and Citation in the Summer of 2008,

Be it therefore known by all, that Annang Development Congress (ADC), satisfied with his performance in his first term as governor, hereby endorses His Excellency, Chief Dr. Godswill Obot Akpabio for a second term as Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

We at ADC pledge our abiding loyalty and will continue to support and advocate for justice, equity and the rule of law, as we call on all stakeholders to join hands in working together towards the sustainable development of our motherland, Akwa Abasi Ibom State.
