(Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) program is celebrating the Grand Opening of it’s tenth site on June 1st between 10:00 AM and noon at 641 N. State Street in San Jacinto.

They offer a 5 year program with a foundation in educational incentives and work opportunities, supported by temporary financial assistance, leading to self sufficiency. Torres Martinez Tribal T.A.N.F. first opened in 2001 with 1 small office in Thermal, CA and have since grown to 9 (now 10) regional offices spanning L.A. and Riverside counties. Special focus is put on traditional values and cultural awareness as we serve the Native community with a determination to support, educate and guide clients along the path to self sufficiency.
