June 10, 2010 - PRLog -- OLD LYME, Conn. – June 9, 2010: Audio specialist Sennheiser announced that it will feature K-array's new Kobra, Redline and KH4 line array loudspeakers at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas. K-array loudspeakers are an extremely high quality, flexible solution for a wide range of possible live audio and installed sound applications, including theatres, clubs, outdoor venues, corporate, institutional facilities, houses of worship and many others.

All of K-array's speakers are manufactured in Italy and highly regarded for their ability to deliver high sound pressure levels and crisp frequency response with a diminutive physical footprint. Additionally, their sleek design and subtle appearance make them adaptable to a wide range of possible installation environments: indoor or outdoor, large or small. Following are some of the highlighted products that will be on display at the Sennheiser booth InfoComm 2010:

Kobra KK50vb
The KK50vb is a professional 3D line array speaker system that is only 2.2 inches deep and weighs just 5.5 pounds. It delivers crisp audio across its entire frequency range, with a peak output of 120 dB. The KK50vb's most unique feature is that it can change vertical coverage from the usual 7 degrees to 120 degrees with the flip of a switch. This capability, combined with its extremely small dimensions and weight, make it suitable for many different types of venues. It features a rugged military spec enclosure that can withstand the demands of touring, and can be flexibly mounted either vertically or horizontally.

Redline KR200s
The Redline KR200s is a highly portable, powered two-way system designed for use in both mobile and install applications. Its ultra-slim satellite features a line array of 32 two-inch, high-efficiency drive units with neodymium magnet structures. This ensures maximum linear excursion of sound with minimal noise. The KR200s, which are suitable for theatre, concert halls, clubs, houses of worship and many other applications, feature a revolutionary design and deliver a balanced, natural sound.

KH4 Line Array
The KH4 is a self-powered two-way line array speaker that offers an incredible reserve of power for very high SPL, while maintaining superior sound quality. It is ideal for longer throw applications in larger venues, yet measures just 6.3 inches flat and weighs only 104 pounds so it can be used in more compact venues as well. It features 12 eight-inch cone drivers for low-mid frequencies and is powered by six power amplifier channels. The mid-high frequency section uses five 1.75-inch voice coil compression drivers that drive 1-inch x 4-inch constant directivity waveguides. The transducers are driven by an internal DSP module, backed by dedicated remote control software, which allows control of the speaker from a PC.
