SAN FRANCISCO—The Trium Group, the boutique management consulting firm that specializes in organizational transformation and strategy execution, announced that it has recently completed an engagement helping a $4 billion global IT Solutions company align for service-led focus.
The client organization had committed to increase its emphasis on technology-related services both to provide its clients with more complete, sustained IT solutions and to bolster its own margins. It also decided to revisit its thinking on its ecosystem relationships as competition and margin pressure have become very challenging. Trium helped the client align on where the organization is today, where it wants to be in three years, and what it must do to effectively bridge the two points. In particular Trium helped the executive team crystallize a set of clear business scenarios, identify capability gaps and set a practical 90-day plan as the catalyst for building a Transformation-
Trium’s team also helped the client identify and commit to a number of highly-targeted, short-term strategic initiatives and business imperatives to execute in support of its evolution.
For purposes of confidentiality, Trium at this time will not disclose the client’s name nor details that would identify it.
“More than half of all Fortune 500 companies today rely upon this organization and its people for at least some of their IT solutions and services, so it’s very smart to plot a deliberate, determined roadmap to fundamentally deepen and broaden these business relationships in a manner that increases customer satisfaction while increasing revenues,” said Andrew Blum, Trium Founder and Managing Partner.
Trium Principal Brad Sutton led this engagement.
“It is immensely fulfilling to help this organization better serve its robust portfolio of clients across all major industry verticals while concurrently helping the organization refine its position for long-term health,” said Sutton.
