Coast agency wins State-wide Government contract
Local agency The Creative Collective has won a state-wide 12 month contract with the Queensland Government’s Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI).
The Creative Collective found out last week they were the successful recipients of the tender, which will see them develop and deliver a series of 25 webinars on core business topics to small business owners across Queensland.
The tender is a major achievement for the Sunshine Coast agency, who has received awards in the past for their creativity and innovation in other business areas.
It is hoped this innovation in the form of providing webinars will complement and support the Regional Centres’ current workshop offering and provide clients of DEEDI and small business owners across Queensland with a more flexible, timely and equitable method to access the Department’s products.
“We are extremely excited to have been awarded this opportunity,”
“We know from the work we are already doing in the Queensland business community, that small business owners are struggling right now. They are as time poor as ever and need new strategies and information that they can implement and gain quick results from. We applaud DEEDI for their initiative to provide a program such as this and look forward to complementing and supporting the Regional Centres’ current workshop offerings via these extremely flexible and lifestyle friendly webinars” says Adams.
The Creative Collective say they plan to feature various industry experts on relevant topics and use a range of learning methods incorporating a high level of interactivity, to ensure participants remain engaged and focused.
“If small business owners are going to invest their time in these webinars, we want to make sure that every minute is valuable and meaningful to them,” says Adams.
The Creative Collective says it hopes its involvement in this initiative will enable businesses to commence, sustain, grow and improve business activity, ultimately improving the economic capacity of Queensland.
The first opportunity for businesses to engage in the program will be the end July. Information will be available via www.business.qld.gov.au from mid June or interested participants can call 1300 363 711 .
