Fourth Street Live!'s FREE Summer Concert Series Returns with More Music for 2010!

LOUISVILLE, KY –Fourth Street Live! announces its FREE Summer Concert Series for 2010!  This is the seventh year in a row that Fourth Street Live! brings the region’s best FREE music concerts to the city of Louisville with Hot Country Nights presented by Jim Beam and the new Rock The Block series presented by Red Stag!  

Hot Country Nights presented by Jim Beam makes quite a comeback this summer with 10 FREE concerts lined up every Friday night, beginning June 18.  You’ll see some of today’s hottest country artists - from former “American Idol” contestant Josh Gracin to the duo of Steel Magnolia to Louisville favorite Edgewood to returning Hot Country “Nighter” Randy Houser.  There is something to fit every country music taste with Hot Country Nights!

Fourth Street Live!’s newest concert series, Rock The Block, presented by Red Stag, is just that - monthly Saturday night concerts designed to rock the block of Fourth Street like never before!  Featuring the Grammy-winning blues-rock band Blues Traveler, chart-topping pop/rock veteran Sister Hazel, and the multi-platinum selling alternative rock band, Gin Blossoms!   Your Saturday nights will never be the same after you experience Rock The Block!

Hot Country Nights and Rock The Block are  FREE concerts and are open to all ages. On concert nights, patrons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian until 9 pm. 21 and over after 9pm will be admitted.  All shows begin at 8:00 p.m.

FREE parking is conveniently located at the Galleria Garage on Fifth Street between Muhammad Ali and Liberty after 6:00 p.m.  Additional parking is offered at the Seelbach Garage and the Hyatt Garage.
