On June 9, 2010, Dority & Manning will be honored to host Hiroyuki Suda and Takeo Nasu from Nakamura & Partners, a nearly 100 year-old Intellectual Property specialty law firm located in Tokyo. Mr. Suda and Mr. Nasu will speak at noon, providing insights into recent developments in Japanese patent law and practice. CLE credit and lunch will be available if arranged in advance.
This will be the fourth event in the International Practice Series. In the initial presentation in the Series, Christopher Davies of Frank B. Dehn & Co. (London) discussed drafting tips and strategies for optimizing European patent practice. In the second presentation, Edward Genocchio of Spruson & Ferguson (Sydney) spoke on recent developments in Australian patent procurement, enforcement, and oppositions. In the third presentation, Cecilia Lou (Xianying) and Jonathan Pan (Zhihong) of leading Chinese law firm King & Wood delivered an informative and engaging presentation regarding business and intellectual property issues in China.
