LITTLETON, Colo.—ULTRAPURE WATER journal is accepting abstracts for technical papers on electronics water treatment issues for ULTRAPURE WATER Micro 2010, which will be conducted at the Hilton Hotel in Mesa (near Phoenix), Ariz., this November 16-17. The emphasis of this conference will be primarily on the electronics industry (semiconductor, photovoltaic [PV], and nanotechnology)
Presentations will be for 30 minutes, and include a short question/answer time. Here is a partial list of potential topics:
1. New water treatment technology development
2. Semiconductor or PV water treatment
3. Nanotechnology in water treatment
4. Organics, inorganics, or particles removal
5. Monitoring technology development
6. High-purity water and its use at the tool
7. Pretreatment/
8. New developments in wafer manufacture, and their implications for water use/needs
9. System expansion/upgrades
10. Water reuse at semiconductor or PV plants
11. Developments within semiconductor water treatment standards, or their implementation in facilities
An abstract submittal form is available at http://www.ultrapurewater.com/
Abstracts will be subject to an external peer review process that will consider the technical merits of a proposed paper, and ensure that the proposal meets conference criteria for presentations that are non-commercial, technical, and educational in nature.
In addition to technical presentations, ULTRAPURE WATER Micro will feature tabletop exhibits by leading providers of water treatment products and services.
Separately, Tall Oaks Publishing is making plans for its 2011 Ultrapure Water Pharma conference that will be conducted April 12 and 13, 2011, in Philadelphia.
