Nationally recognized hospital consultant Lee Greif was a featured speaker at the Medical Office Real Estate Symposium 2010, held on March 30 in New York City. Addressing the topic of “Creative Financing Solutions for Hospital Sale Leasebacks & New Hospital Development”
Lee Greif, a recognized national authority on medical building development, served as chairman of the board for a 430-bed not-for-profit hospital for two decades. During his term, he spearheaded the development of a medical office building next to the hospital campus. This ambitious and ultimately very successful enterprise had a profoundly positive effect on the community’s efforts to develop a medical district offering varying levels of care in one location. Throughout his career, Greif has made his recognized expertise in real estate and business matters freely available by serving in a leadership or advisory capacity to a number of vital non-profit entities, including: the American Cancer Society of Johnson County, the Theater League Guild of Greater Kansas City, and the KCPT Public Television network. Greif is dedicated to taking risks in order to learn and grow, and equally as devoted to passing on the knowledge and wisdom he has gained to the next generation so that they can flourish in turn.
