Sonic Edge Will Debut its Tumbleweed Guitar Pedal at Summer NAMM 2010

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 8, 2010 - The Tumbleweed is an innovative country pedal – a two-fold compressor and clean boost in one pedal.  The comp side has level and sensitivity controls, while the clean boost sports a level control and a three-way toggle switch with Brit, Cali and Jazz voicing.  Separate bypass switches allow the comp and boost to be used together, or separate as two individual units.  The Tumbleweed will go on pre-sale at NAMM for expected delivery in September, in time for the 2010 holiday season.

Fargen will demonstrate the Tumbleweed pedal prototype, along with the J&J Overdrive pedal already in production, at the Fargen/Sonic Edge booth #1449.  “We are running the pedals through Fargen Mini Plex MKII and AC Duo-Tone amps, via state-of-the-art Iso-Cabs designed by J Design”, says Ben Fargen, co-founder of Sonic Edge.  “The Iso-Cabs will allow players to isolate the sound from our pedals and amps while blocking out the noise from the NAMM exhibit floor.”

“We set out to introduce a new pedal each quarter, and are happy to announce the Tumbleweed, on the heels of June delivery of the J&J Overdrive pedal”, Fargen added.

Sonic Edge is running a special dealer giveaway and all dealers that stop by the booth to try the pedals will be entered into a drawing to win a free J&J Overdrive pedal.  In addition, Fargen will announce the three winners of its ‘Me and My Fargen’ contest while at the conference.
