June 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA  (June 7, 2010) - GoldStarr Artist Bo Benton is climbing the Rhythmic and Urban charts with her new remix “Handle This” featuring Too $hort and Produced by Grammy Award winner Bangladesh.  This song was inspired by a talented producer Lil’ Ronnie on her “Queen of The Night” CD track titled “Handle This.” And written by Bo, Jason Edmonds (Michael Jackson, Sisqo, Kevon Edmond ) and Mark Tabb (Pink, You Make Me Sick track ).   When Bo teamed up with top industry producer Bangladesh (Beyonce's “Diva”, Lil Wayne “A Milli”) and rapper Too $hort for her current release “Handle This” on her remix it was no surprise that the song would be the single to welcome Bo into key chart positioning.  “My team knew this song would be the one to grab the most attention because of the talent and chemistry we all bring to the table.  From the beat to the sultry lyrical sound and adding a little hip hop edge, we captured all the ingredients needed to make this a stand out track,” says Bo.   “Handle This,” the remix went to radio and immediately caught the attention of radio programmers, it has crossed over into the top 100 section on Mediabase for Urban and Rhythmic stations.  For the weeks of May 17th and May 24th the chart shows Bo jumped to #31 on the 7 Day mediabase greatest gainers chart behind Jay Z’s “Young Forever featuring Mr. Hudson” this is a major accomplishment for and independent label.  In some markets she has had significant jumps in spins and the forecast is looking good.  The remix is available for purchase on iTunes.

When Bo Benton released her project “Queen Of The Night” on GoldStarr/Bungalo/Universal, programmers were introduced to her style with her first single “I Know U Want It” which was a woman’s empowerment song with an pop feel, and her a rock anthem ”Queen of The Night” produced by Jason Edmonds.  When you listen to the CD you will find that Bo infused many different styles of music to fit today’s average listener.  She wanted to create a CD that reflects the new generation of music lovers.  The average music lover listens to everything from R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz and Opera.  On the CD “Queen of the Night” if one song doesn’t grab you she is sure to have another song that will.  “In this age of iTunes and iPods, everyone listens to everything. Why should we allow record labels put us in a box when in reality most music lovers love it all! You can listen to the album from start to finish without the songs sounding the same, or having to skip songs because of the blending of many musical styles.” says Bo.
