CSAA Call to Action for ESX in Pittsburgh

CSAA is asking ESX attendees to be a Tweetcaster while in Pittsburgh - contact CSAA at www.csaaul.org to learn more about how!

June 7, 2010 - PRLog -- CSAA needs you to be a Tweetcaster while in Pittsburgh.  It’s easy and fun, and all you need to do is:
1.   Have a Twitter account
2.   Tweet using hashtag* #CSAAatESX
3.   Dedicate time to read and write Tweets
4.   Be informative and have fun

Not going to ESX?  Don’t want a Twitter account or to be involved as a Tweetcaster?  That’s okay!  You’ll find that Twitter.com/CSAAintl is a public profile where you can still view activity on the web to see what’s happening.

* Hashtag Definition:

Twitter messages don’t have a category field, and so the hashtag was born! A hashtag is the # symbol followed by a descriptive term used in a post as a way of saying, “This message is about the same thing as other messages from other people who include the same hashtag.” Then, when somebody searches for that specific hashtag in Twitter, they’ll get all related messages in an ordered list.

Keep in mind that the hashtag can be located anywhere in the message (Beginning/Middle/End), and if enough people use the same hashtag at once, the term will appear in Twitter’s Trending Topics.

Please register to be listed as an official Tweetcaster by contacting Melissa Courville at DICE Corporation or Celia Besore of CSAA via 703-242-4670, x16 or communications@csaaintl.org.

Thank you and see you at ESX!
