June 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Statewide Monitoring was one of the first to deploy the DICE Outbound Voice product in 2008.  The software was configured to dispatch on the three lowest priority alarms in the central station.

In the first month of operation, the software made 6,000 calls that the operators would have normally made.  The cost savings this type of automation forecasts is significant, and the efficiencies that resulted from deployment of this system are unmatched by any other system.  To our knowledge, no other software vendor in the industry has such a system available.

The new signature capture software for remote service devices has been moving forward in the design group lead by Ackerman Security Systems, American Alarm & Communications, Inc., and Doyle Security Systems.  This new functionality will allow technicians with Blackberry Smart Phones to collect signatures in the field.  Implementing this solution will have multiple benefits, including:

► Eliminate confusion/problems caused by billing your service tickets/installation tickets days and even weeks after the technician was on-site.  If you implement this system, you can bill the ticket the same day!

► Reduce or totally eliminate paperwork for your service dispatchers and technicians.

► Reduce or totally eliminate the time that your technicians spend talking to your operators while onsite testing systems.

► Service techs don't have to come into the office as often because they are not picking up/turning in service tickets.

► Enables payment collection at the point of service by using credit card/ACH

► Improved customer service with the document scanning because the paperwork is available immediately to the whole company.

The DICE/AltiGen IP PBX telephony integration has been updated recently to include voice recording capacities which allow the recordings to be reviewed while in our alarm history view.  This allows you to look at the alarm history and listen to the call related to the event.  Also the central station software provides a seamless interface to the phone switch for two way alarm handling and auto-dialing.
