Stoughton, MA Single-Family Median Home Prices and Home Sales Rise in April 2010

June 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Single-family home prices and sales rose in Stoughton, MA in April 2010, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only, LLC, a Massachusetts firm made up of exclusive buyer agents.

The Stoughton, MA market report was compiled using data from MLS Property Information Network, Inc., the local multiple listing service.

The number of single-family homes sold in April 2010 rose from 11 in April 2009 to 17, an increase of 54.6 percent. The median price of single-family homes also rose from April 2009 to April 2010, increasing by 22.7 percent, or $50,000. Additionally, the number of days these properties sat on the market dropped by more than 50 percent.

The sales of multi-family homes stayed the same, while the median price for multi-family homes dropped slightly from April 2009 to April 2010.

Condominiums in Stoughton saw the largest boom of sales from April 2009, increasing by 300 percent from two to eight sales in April 2010; however, the median price for condominiums decreased 17.4 percent.
