The show is one of 38 General Championship Dog Shows licensed by the Kennel Club throughout the year which enable dogs to qualify for DFS Crufts. This year, the Kennel Club will have a stand at the show, with staff on hand to answer any enquiries, and to help newcomers to find out how they can get involved in dog showing. Show Organiser Marjory Macgregor said: “The show is tremendously popular with all exhibitors, many of whom make the trip to Kelso with their caravans to enjoy a holiday week in the border town. “In addition to watching the competitions, visitors will have the chance to browse round more than fifty trade stands with a wide range of dog-related products such as food, books, coats and grooming products, as well as special dog baths and even herbal remedies for dogs.” The show promises to be an interesting and entertaining weekend for all.
