Santa Fe, New Mexico  - The Santa Fe Complex is transformed into Santa Fe’s hippest dance party with circus performers, break dancing, live mixed video art, and three DJs.

The Complex has proven itself to be a multifaceted local venue for science, technology, and art and we feel it’s time to shake it up and celebrate this amazing space with some luscious beats. Festivities begin  with live performances by various artists including Wise Fool New Mexico. Musical movements provided by prettylittlepaw mixing acousmatronica, J-Kind who is back on the scene for one night only is mixing 90s funk dub, and headliner DJ Dirt Girl mixes electro with eclectic mixes of J-Pop/ Bollywood/ Thai-Pop. The Complex will be alive with vivacious beats and wall-to-wall live video mixing VJ-ing by Ethan Bach... not to mention the video dome. Off the Rails is Saturday, June 12, 7:30 pm to 2 am. Admission $5 - $10 sliding scale.

The fundraiser goes to support the upcoming art show, Retrieving Humanity. Retrieving Humanity is a one of a kind interactive performance and installation that will bring live streaming video and audio from around the world to Santa Fe. This new concept of storytelling will allow the audience, by participation, to explore and express connections with their community and the world at large. This event is brought together by the multi-media art group, Parallel Flux and will be held at Santa Fe Complex on July 9, 2010 at 7pm.

Parallel Flux creates immersive art installations through the use of cutting-edge technology including custom-made software, motion sensors, media streaming, computer networking, installation design elements, and DJ and VJ software. Parallel Flux pushes the boundaries of art, technology, and communication and uses their projects as education opportunities for local college students to learn about art and technology. Parallel Flux consists of Ethan Bach, Jason Goodyear, Jena Greer, Armohn Jackson, Peter Joseph, and Charles Veasey.

The Santa Fe Complex is located at 632 Agua Fria Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501
