TORONTO – ON - The journey of no two dancers is the same and therein lies a graphic and uncompromising story of a dancer. Awakening is an urban musical dance theatre production based on the transformational journey of a dancer. A dubious love affair with dance, grounded in a supportive cocoon fuelled by culture and spirituality.
This wonderful play by Tamla Matthews, Caribbean Dance Theatre is the latest in a string of events being promoted using WoahMedia.com’
For those not aware, a digital billboard is a mini web-page that can be copied and shared on any website that accepts html code. The technology is very much the same as a traditional billboard, but it is published online and can be updated in real-time by clients interested in promoting content, events, products and services.
“In the 21st century you must bring news to people on social networks like Myspace where they meet. You cannot wait for them to visit your website. Digital Billboards allow you to do this and update the billboard in real-time as you create new content," says Matrix Thompson, VP, WoahMedia.com.
"We are proud to represent Awakening and the Caribbean Dance Theatre. And we're equally confident that our digital billboards and associated online blogging and PR solutions will help the Caribbean Dance Theatre to sell tickets."
Gripping in its historical content, the Awakening makes its run from June 17-18, 2010 at the Toronto Centre for the arts. Tickets range from $25 - $40 and can be order at Ticketmaster or the Toronto Centre for the Arts box office.
