Here are some advices that you can do in order to keep your phone in tip-top shape.

1. Keep it somewhere safe; safe from prying people’s eyes that may have every intention of getting it from you or from the extremes of the environment. Mobile phones are considered very delicate and therefore you should find it in you to protect it. One very good way of protecting it from any kinds of collisions which can deform or destroy its integrity is by purchase of a phone case.

2. Always keep it away from things that can cause your phone to produce inner and outer moisture. Majority of phone companies have marks inside their phone that can indicate if dampness occurred. Once this happens, warranty is voided thus; you have to pay for the extra service of repairing your phone.

3. Refrain from dropping your phone. If you get really mad at someone, don’t use your phone as an outlet for your anger. Slamming or dropping your phone can cause serious damage to your device and can cost even more.

4. When cleaning, do not use spray bottles to clean your phone. Instead of using sprays, you can use a cotton swab that is dabbed with alcohol then wipe it gently on your phone surface like the monitor or keypad. Alcohol is not advisable when cleaning your phone’s interior or port of charging.

5. If you love working out, do not keep your phone in contact with your sweaty skin. Sweat or perspiration can cause sufficient damage to your handset.

6. In situations that your phone gets wet, you have a half chance of saving it from ultimate destruction although, you must act as fast as lightning. The moment you have removed your phone from the case, immediately take the battery out then wipe all wet areas of your phone. You can use a hair dryer in order to keep the moisture from building inside it. Batteries get seriously injured when wet and therefore needs a replacement when water came in contact. If this first aid tip still didn’t work, it would be best to bring it to a phone service center to have it checked and fixed.

7. Draining your phone’s battery is not the best thing to do. Charging it for more than the advised hours is also not advisable.
