Large Discovery Of Indium Found near Kingman Az. By ARS Mining.

This discovery is believed to be the highest grade indium deposit ever discovered in the world. There are no operated Indium mines in the United States. The point of discovery was independently sampled by Indium Corporation of America.

June 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Today, Applied Resource Science of Kingman, Az. have released their latest estimates for their newly discovered indium reserves. This discovery is believed to be the largest high grade indium deposit ever discovered in the U.S.   Indium currently sells for about $300/lb. and the deposits contain areas exceeding 1.5 lbs./ton indium.  Numerous  assays were taken, as continuous chip samples, across the vein width at random surface exposures across a distance of 6598 feet of surface vein.  The veins are up to 4 feet in width.   The results produced a average of 535.2 P.P.M. of indium with about .31 Ozs./ton gold and other valuable base metals.  Other deposits on the property were found to extend to 403 feet in depth in pre-existing shafts which suggests they could extend to depths exceeding 1200 feet.   When the deposits are projected to 1200 feet depth they indicate there is about 850,000 tons of ore.   This amounts to 1 million lbs. of indium with a current value of $300,000,000.00 occurring simultaneously with 276,000 ozs. of gold and 2,760,000 ozs. of silver.   The gold value alone is $340,938,000.00 at today's price of $1220.00/oz.   There has be no end in site to these veins which extend NW across the property.   Core drilling will be required to determine the actual metal contents at depth.   The indium deposits only represent a small portion of the property which contains  many other high grade gold, silver, zinc, lead, copper bearing veins.  Total reserves for all the deposits are estimated to exceed many billion dollars in reserves for these metals.
ARS believes indium is the “metal of the future” and this discovery separates their Company from those that only concentrate their efforts on precious metals. Indium is used in flat screen TV,s  and the latest solar panels.  Many experts believe indium prices could exceed $10,000/kilo in 10 to15 years.  ARS currently has listed these properties for sale or Joint Venture to further expand and accelerate their exploration efforts.
