June 4, 2010 - PRLog -- A Nottingham man, Simon Croft, has started an online business in the belief that he can also help others achieve success.

Mr Croft explains "The way I see it, there are far too many so called 'gurus' all too willing to fleece unsuspecting newcomers by bombarding them with the next big must have product."

He states that he is trying to redress the balance by offering quality content, free of charge, "If I can help people and at the same time stop the ordinary person having to buy the hyped up programs and books, then I will have succeeded."

From Nottingham, England, Mr Croft compares the internet marketing guru's as the Sheriff's of Nottingham, continually finding new ways to 'tax' the common marketer. He aims to 'steal' money from the gurus and spread the wealth by helping newcomers to achieve their own dream.

A big family man, Mr Croft has been happily married for more than 16 years and has two young children. He explained "It is everyone's dream to spend more time with their family, this business model truly offers that chance." But  he admits that it is not all roses. He was made redundant at the end of last year and whilst he admits that there was jobs about, for some reason, his profile did not seem to fit what employers were looking for. This was despite applying for jobs in sectors that he had been working in for more than 20 years. He said "Yes, it was disheartening, but I decided that I had to take matters into my own hands. Many people in the same situation are turning to the internet for help and this is where the problems begin."

He is not going into the business totally blind. He has enlisted the help of top internet marketer Alex Jeffreys. Someone who by his own admission was a broke, dyslexic construction worker a few short years ago. Mr Croft said "The thing I like about Alex Jeffreys is his ethos and his passion'" He explained "Here is someone who turned internet marketing on its head. He was sick of all the hype, all the selling tactics and rebelled. He found out what his customers wanted, and delivered it all, for free." A typical example of Alex Jeffreys training can be found at http://www.easycash-webinar.com.

Mr Croft's aim is to do the same. He wants to pass on all the tactics he learns to his readers. He wants to show which tactics are working and which are not in the hope that they can learn from his successes and failures.

In closing, Mr Croft said "There has been a worldwide recession which has led to a dramatic increase in the number of people turning to the internet for salvation. Unfortunately, this has also led to a rise in unscrupulous marketers feeding on this desire. This trend has got to stop."
