There are roaming charges that can be pretty expensive. On the other hand, there are some networks that offer giveaways and promotions without hidden charges.  Nowadays, getting credit for your cell phone can be easier than you think. Mass distributions of prepaid cards are made available by networks to different establishments and carriers.
