Here is an Excerpt..

It was a whole week before the Lhari ship warmed up to shoot off in warp-drive, and all that time young Bart Steele had stayed secluded in his cabin. He was so bored with his own company that -- for just a moment -- the Mentorian medic was a welcome sight when he came to prepare him for "cold-sleep."

The Mentorian paused, needle in hand. "Are you still sure you don't wish to be wakened when we tug in to land on the first three star systems, sir?"

Bart felt tempted -- he wanted very much to see the other star systems. But he couldn't risk meeting other passengers. He fought down his eagerness and nodded. "I'm sure."
The needle went into his arm.
HE PANICKED
Bart realized he would be entirely helpless for the entire trip. The ship would touch down on three worlds, and on any one of them the Lhari might have his description, or his alias!
He could be taken off the ship,
unconscious,
and never even know it.
He might not ever wake up!
Bart tried to move,
to scream that he had changed his mind,
but he couldn't.
There was that long,
freezing moment
of intense cold
-- and then -- nothing.... nothing.... nothing....

The Colors of Space, real science fiction for young adults has been rewritten by Browzer Books -- known best for its rewritten romance novels. Is rewriting novels like that -- legal? Yes, when it is in the public domain.  Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a perfectly good example of the way Walt Disney used works in the public domain to launch a totally new product. Anyone can do it, but few can do it as well as the professionals.
Editors and journalists are invited to download The Colors of Space for reviewing purposes.
