GiveForward.org is proud to announce the launch of a new fundraising widget. This feature will allow the site’s users to quickly and easily spread word of their fundraising efforts by adding a badge of sorts directly to their personal web sites and blogs.
“This is something our users have requested from us, and we’re excited to offer this great new tool,” says Ethan Austin, the company’s Co-founder.
By simply pasting the HTML code onto their personal sites and asking friends to do the same, users will provide their campaigns with a great deal of exposure. In addition to the publicity boost, the widget also offers people the chance to donate without having to leave the web site or blog they are visiting.
In a very fitting tale, site user Kim Sutton-Rainey helped raise some of the money used to create this widget by starting a Supporters of GiveForward fundraising page.
