Amesbury, MA Median Home Prices Increase First Quarter 2010 While Sales Decline

June 17, 2010 - PRLog -- The median home price increased and homes sales declined in the first quarter of 2010 in Amesbury, Massachusetts,  exclusive buyer agent real estate firm Buyers Brokers Only, LLC, reported.

Single-family median home prices increased by 6.4 percent, from $321,500 to $342,000 in the first quarter of 2010. Although median price was up, sales dropped by 50 percent, from 20 to 10 sales, in the first three months of 2010 compared to Q1 of 2009.

Condominiums in Amesbury, MA saw the largest increase in median price, going up 59.2 percent compared to Q1 2009. Sales of condos followed suit, decreasing 26.7 percent.

Multi-family homes in Amesbury, MA saw a small 3.5 percent gain in median price, while sales remained unchanged from the same time period in 2009.
