The purpose of this event is to enable the Twitter friends and followers of @CTAdigital and
@GameMarketing to get introduced to each other and make valuable business connections.
This unique endeavor will include prize drawings, game demos, pro gamer guest appearances, and an interactive networking opportunity for game industry professionals, all headquartered at the CTA Digital vendor booth.
“It’s like a Twitter Party. We often come across interesting people online, and never get a chance to actually meet them in real life.” said Frank Espinoza, from the product design team at CTA Digital, “We’re so glad to be working with Mary on taking this off the ground.”
Trade Show attendees who are on Twitter are invited to drop by the CTA Digital booth (#4500 West) between 1:00-4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 16th to register for prizes, meet gaming personalities, demo the latest in games accessories, and place orders with Kurek for courtesy business introductions made for them during the event . Announcements on drawings, special guest appearances, Twitter check-ins, and networking connections will be flashed on a screen at the booth.
“The aim here,” says Kurek, “is to reward Twitter followers with a bit of gaming fun, and assist them in making great connections at E3.”
Currently scheduled for appearances at the booth are Robert Paz (Prodigy) and Ciji Thornton (Starslay3r)
Rock Band 2 at the 2009 Pan American Championships.
In addition to gaming pros, visitors to the booth will get to meet http://KidsAreHeroes.org star, eight-year-old Ricky Springer who is experiencing E3 as a guest of CTA Digital. In 2009, Ricky initiated the Racing for a Cause campaign, to educate everyone he meets about his gastrointestinal disorder and raise money to support APFED (The American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders). Ricky will be able to put his racing skills to the test by showing off CTA Digital’s latest Inflatable Kart for Wii accessory at the booth.
