GMP Friction Products Nears AS9100C Compliance for Aerospace Industry Certification

June 3, 2010 - PRLog -- AKRON, OHIO (June 3, 2010) -- GMP Friction Products, a leading provider of friction material for clutch plates and brake pads is working with Compliance Plus Enterprise LLC to achieve its AS9100C Compliance.  The AS9100C is the standardized quality management program for the aerospace industry.

AS9100C certification is designed to eliminate any potential weaknesses in the systems to improve quality, consistency and customer satisfaction. While similar to the ISO Certification, the AS9100C focuses on the areas unique to the aerospace industry.

Carolyn Petriella, President and Owner of Compliance Plus Enterprises, LLC, helped GMP Friction Products to document the systems and processes necessary to receive their ISO9001:2008 certification.
