The beautiful store houses Gieves & Hawkes sharply tailored ready to wear collection, as well as offering the made to measure service. Customers can also arrange for bespoke appointments to be held in the store, or for a Bespoke cutter to come to their office, making it easy for guys of the City to have their suit fitted on their lunch break.
The 1,000 square foot store boasts Georgian architectural details, with oak wood floors and wood panelled walls. Gieves & Hawkes’ history with the Royal Navy is touched upon with heritage chairs, inspired by the Naval Officers’ uniforms with navy blue upholstery, gold embroidery and antique style rivet details.
The back wall of the store is covered with an 18th Century map of the city of London, created by one of the foremost map makers of the era, John Rocque, which ties in with Gieves & Hawkes’ strong history which dates back to 1771.
