The Town Mayor, Cllr Robin Kempe said, “I am delighted to be kicking off proceedings at the Active Communities Festival. The event offers an ideal opportunity for those who have always wanted to participate in a sport or other form of activity, but have never got around to it.” “Getting local residents more involved in physical activity is the main aim of this project and this festival will showcase the many fantastic sporting opportunities that are available in the area.
