FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 3, 2010 - Sonic Edge announced today that it has signed its first distributors and dealers for its pedal line, beginning with the J&J Overdrive pedal, which ships later this month.

These companies cover North America, Asia, Europe and Australia, and represent a combination of existing relationships from the Fargen amplifier side of the business, as well as new relationships.  “These dealers and distributors are instrumental in helping to position our brand across the globe and spread the word about our best-in-class pedals” says Ben Fargen, founder of Sonic Edge.  “We are so excited that these folks were the first to step-up and support the launch of Sonic Edge”.

Sonic Edge pedals are now available through Bam Bam’s (United States), Blues Angel Music (United States), Crush the Button (Belgium), Inova Co. (Tokyo), Sound Fusion (Australia), These Go To 11 (Sweden) and Vintage Gitar (Norway).  Additional details are available on Sonic Edge’s website, www.sonicedgeinc.com .

With the help of these companies, Sonic Edge sold out of its first run of J&J Overdrive pedals, and is now working on the second production run, as well as prototyping its second pedal, to be announced shortly and unveiled at Summer NAMM.  ”These distributors and dealers took a large part of our first production run of J&J pedals.  Our plan is to keep the product line fresh and release at least one new pedal each quarter, and we are extremely excited about our second product design” said Ben.

Inova Co., Ltd. Began importing Fargen amplifiers into Japan in 2006, and has now expanded into the Sonic Edge pedal line.  “Benjamin Fargen is popularly known in Japan as the ‘Magician of the Amplifier’ “, says Mr. Kota Shigeura, founder of Inova.  “Ben’s reputation is (high) not only for his unique Fargen Amp products, but also for his innovative modifications and the work he has done with famous artists.”

Ben Fargen launched Sonic Edge in March 2010, to focus on manufacturing best-in-class guitar and bass effects pedals. Ben is founder and CEO of Fargen Amplification, founded in 1998, which has become a thriving boutique company that ships custom-built amplifiers to discerning players on four continents.  Ben has developed a reputation as one of the top engineers and visionaries in the amplifier space.  He also provides world tour and studio amp support to many of the world’s most celebrated guitarists including Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and in fact, designed Steve’s Legacy II amplifier that was launched by Carvin in January 2009.
