Sundays at midnight, music video program Undaground TV will air on Baton Rouge’s CW21 and Cox 10.
According to host and producer Goldie Davenport, Undaground TV is an entertainment show that informs the viewer on the newest music scene. The show also features original comedy sketches.
The program has featured many reputable artist including David Banner, Slim Thug, Big Boi, Maino, Plies and more. According to Davenport, most of his connections on Undaground TV comes from either him calling artist personally or his connection with former Rap-A-Lot artist Captain Jack.
Undaground TV also uses interns from Southern University who participate on the campus channel SUTV.
“It gives them a hands on feel for what it’s like to work on a channel on network television,”
