Priceline Pharmacy at Macquarie Centre has won the coveted People’s Choice Award at the Australian Pharmacy Professional (APP) conference in the Gold Coast this month ahead of scores of competitors from around Australia.
Federal Minister for Health and Ageing, Nicola Roxon presented a range of keenly contested national awards with the People’s Choice Award especially reflecting the local community’s appreciation and loyalty for their pharmacy.
Adrian Lee’s Priceline Pharmacy Macquarie Centre attracted over 3,000 customer endorsements, recognising outstanding community service and engagement.
The National President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Kos Sclavos, said: “This competition celebrates the very high standards of service achieved by Australian pharmacies…. and the winners are shining examples of the strength of the community pharmacy model.”
Adrian Lee acknowledged that it was the value of truly understanding the needs and interests of his customers that was responsible for their win.
“Combining our professional pharmacy experience and outstanding service with the support of Priceline’s targeted marketing means we can give customers exactly what they want,” Mr Lee said.
“It’s a wonderful honour to win the People’s Choice Award because customers take the time and effort to vote for our pharmacy above others.”
