Three Qantas cabin crew were hospitalized after inhaling fumes from a faulty oven on a Boeing 767-300, flight QF476 between Perth and Melbourne.

A 45-year-old worker had attempted to neutralize waste product with hydrochloric acid, on April 15. It took 35 firefighter three hours to bring the incident under control.

Walkerville Collegiate was forced to evacuate when a mysterious airborne chemical left dozens of students gasping for air.

Twenty-six people were treated at the scene. 14 students and two teachers were hospitalized.
