June 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Bay Technologies (Bay), a leading Australian provider of enterprise compliance solutions, has just signed a contract with the Western Australian Department for Child Protection (DCP) to provide a Ministerial Tracking System, to replace their current manual handling process. DCP represents the third Western Australian Government Department to purchase MINCOR from Bay in less than six months.

This comes off the back of The Departments of the Attorney General and Corrective Services selecting MINCOR as a Ministerial tracking system in January.

Bay CEO Mark Pickering had this to say about the recent spike in activity in WA; “Western Australia has been a power house of mining in Australia during the GFC.  It seems to me that our compliance services team are now responding to a boom of ministerial correspondence systems opportunities.  I see this really maturing the market in WA and I, and the team at Bay, are delighted to be selected as a partner in this with several government departments.”

The department has decided it will utilise the MINCOR solution as much as possible for tracking correspondence and this will see DCP roll out MINCOR to the entire department for the tracking and management of all correspondence – not just Ministerial and Executive Correspondence. On this issue Pickering was quoted as saying “When the product team came to me a few years ago and discussed the idea of executive and general correspondence it just felt right.” and “Consequently our customers now enjoy all the power of flexibility built into handle Ministerial Correspondence for just about any form of tracking activity they need to perform. It really is quite a lot of value in the box. Certainly our state government customers who have rolled out MINCOR to handle their executive and general correspondence are delighted.”

Not only will this purchase allow DCP to track and manage all due dates, documents and meta-data associated with their correspondence but it will also enable detailed performance monitoring to be matched to DCP specific key performance indicators.

The initial implementation of MINCOR is expected to be completed within 2 months of the tender announcement, this is to meet DCP business drivers and provide maximum value to the department. In the long term Bay is excited to form a partnership, with DCP, that will see MINCOR drive business efficiencies and cut spending across all departmental correspondence business processes.

Bay looks forward to not only a successful implementation project with DCP but also working closely in partnership with the department into the future.
