MEDIA ADVISORY For June 2, 2010: Save-A-Pet Coordinates Rescue of 20 Adult Dogs from Puppy Mills

   What:   Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center is coordinating with Best Friends Animal Society of Utah to rescue 20 adult dogs that were used for breeding purposes at “puppy mills.” These dogs were later abandoned by the puppy mill owners when they were no longer deemed useful.

      Save-A-Pet staff members and volunteers will nurse these animals back to health so that they can be ready for adoption. Ms. Scofield will also show graphics and video depicting the horrendous conditions from where these animals came.
