June 1, 2010 - PRLog -- LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA – After a longer than expected development period, http://www.openindependence.com has launched their live beta website.

Open Independence is a new social media platform designed for business  people to find each other, brainstorm, and collaborate.  Unlike other social media websites, the membership for Open Independence is solely focused on business-minded people.  One of the biggest tools available to these members is collaboration through member created communities within the site.  These communities allow members to discuss, share documents, photos, and soon video conferencing will be added.

The beta period is expected to last 60-days during which time key features of the website will be live-tested by the membership.     After the beta period expires, a major update will be implemented to the website improving the site based on user comments/suggestions.  Open Independence is free to join and use.
