Dr. Leigh-Davis makes history again, with her Los Angeles Lakers NBA predictions

May 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Dr. Leigh-Davis is making history in more places than one.  First, Dr. Leigh-Davis made history by being the first female, and also, the first black to be named Dean at Yuin University, where Dr. Leigh-Davis is a professor of law.  Second, Dr. Leigh-Davis made history by predicting, (all the way back in April,) that the Los Angeles Lakers would battle the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference, and then go on to battle archrivals, the Boston Celtics, in the finals.  And that is just what happened.

"Bringing the Nashty" is what Phoenix residents were screaming for Steve Nash, (that is when they weren't saying, "Los Suns."  However, the Lakers dominated, and on Saturday, May 29, 2010 became the Western Conference Champions for a second year in a row.  Hurray!!!

While others were unsure, or changed their predictions by the hour; Dr. Leigh-Davis stood by her prediction; did not waiver; and was absolutely right.  Dr. Leigh-Davis was outspoken about her predictions, even when they didn’t look possible, and she spoke explicitly about her NBA predictions on April 5, 2010 at 10:00 p.m. Pacific Time, on her weekly radio show on Blog Talk Radio.  Not wavering from her predictions, Dr. Leigh-Davis continued her explicit NBA forecasts when she was hired by Associated Content to do a commentary podcast on the NBA.  Now, all of Dr. Leigh-Davis’ predictions have come true.

“Of course I am still rooting for the Lakers.  2008 was an anomaly, (at least in my mind,)” joked Dr. Leigh-Davis, who went on to add, “Truthfully, history shows the Lakers always have a tough battle when meeting Boston in the finals.  But remember, unlike in 2008, we have Andrew Bynum.”
