Fike employees have achieved a significant milestone for a manufacturing organization by working one million hours without a lost workday injury at the company’s US facility located in Blue Springs, Missouri. The achievement was recognized with a company event on May 27, 2010.
At the event, Blue Springs Mayor Carson Ross congratulated the company by presenting a proclamation stating that the Mayor and the Blue Springs City Council “applaud the history, goals, and accomplishments associated with Fike Corporation”
Also during the event, Fike was presented recognition awards from Lockton, Inc. and Travelers Insurance. Representative from both companies stated that during their many years of working with various clients around the region, this was the first time they been able to acknowledge a company for achieving one million hours without a lost workday injury.
