Sunday - Depart USA
Board your international flight to Cairo and begin your journey back in time to this charming, ancient land.

Monday - Cairo
Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs at Cairo International airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by our representative, then escorted to your hotel.

Tuesday - Cairo
Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world's largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen's tomb then drive to Old Cairo to visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue Stop for lunch, afternoon visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world's largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar, overnight in Cairo. Wednsday - Cairo, Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu  
Morning flight to Aswan Upon arrival you will be escorted to your cruise ship where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days. Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside junior suite cabin with private facilities. You will visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae; view of Kitchener's Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca, after lunch, sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Then sail to Edfu and overnight. (B, L, D)
 
Thursday - Edfu, Luxor
Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, (237 B.C.) considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor and overnight. (B, L, D)
 
Friday - Luxor (Optional Sound & Light Luxor)
Visit the West Bank necropolis including the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. (Evening optional Sound & Light Show at the Karnak Temple), overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)
 
Saturday - Luxor, Cairo (Optional Sound & Light Cairo)  
After breakfast, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. Disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and escorted to your hotel. (Evening, optional Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids) (B)

Sunday - Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. (B)
