Allied Logistics, Inc. will be honored as a nominee for the prestigious Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) Eagle Award on June 18, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Eagle Award is given to the minority business enterprise (MBE) constituent who has demonstrated a commitment to transacting business with other certified GMSDC MBEs through promoting and creating business opportunities for the economic development and advancement of minority business development in the State of Georgia.
The Eagle Award is presented to a certified MBE that has utilized the products and services of other GMSDC MBE suppliers and: 1) Conducted business with GMSDC MBEs by forming alliances and/or partnerships to provide products and/or services to Corporate or government organizations;
The awardees will be named at the GMSDC 2010 Spirit of Alliance Dinner & 35th Anniversary celebration on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis, Downtown Atlanta, GA.
The GMSDC is a non-profit organization established in 1975 as a regional office of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). For thirty-five years the GMSDC has served as a credible, one-stop source for identifying and accessing qualified minority suppliers. For minority entrepreneurs the council represents opportunities to enhance the business and competitive infrastructure while providing increase exposure to significant business prospects.
