May 26, 2010 - PRLog -- The Miss Southwest Florida Pageant, an official preliminary for the Miss America Organization announced today the Board of Directors for 2010.

"It is my pleasure to announce our Board and new members," stated Kimberley Ouimet, Executive Director, "Our Board is comprised of a very unique group of talented individuals who continue to support and add to the success of this organization.  "The Board is a crucial component to our continued success, as it provides counsel and direction to grow the program into the future as a part of the nation's leading achievement program for young women.”

“As the Organization continues to grow, we are dedicated to strengthening the board with talent that complements and expands our resources."  The New Board Members are as follows:

Lesley Marr, a former title holder and executive director has been involved in the special events and pageant industry for over 2 decades.  Combining her experience in business, marketing and special events, Ms. Marr will bring her creative services to the board focusing primarily on branding and communications.  As the owner of MadNaples Marketing, she specializes in getting brands noticed in a big way . . . simply by being creative—and thinking outside the lines.  Lesley works with the knowledge that comes from faith, experience and the joy that comes from loving what you do.  A Naples resident since 2002, she is the proud wife of Robin Marr and mother of Mason (10) and Maxwell (5).

Virginia native, Al Speach joins the Board as a seasoned professional who has developed and interfaced financial success with operations in the manufacturing and real estate arenas.  Most recently, Speach was named President of the 2010 of the Bonita Springs – Estero Association of REALTORS.  Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Finity Apparel, a manufacturing company of women’s sportswear in Westchester County, New York.   In 2002, Speach moved his family to Naples where he became a mortgage broker, then a realtor.  In his spare time, he competes nationally in Power lifting meets and has held world, national and state records and served in the United States Air Force.
