Serial killer's nephew to display comic books at Memorial Day Convention

The creator of "Family Bones" will be at the Rock'n Comic Con in Pasadena, California to show off new issues of comic book about serial killings.
 
May 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Creator of “Family Bones” and great nephew to serial killers Ray and Faye Copeland will be in Pasadena, California over this coming Memorial Day Weekend.  

During the three day convention writer/creator of “Family Bones”, Shawn Granger will be on-hand to sign copies of the comic book and discuss the upcoming final issues.  This summer marks the end of the popular comic book series.

The 10 issue comic book series tell the gruesome tale of Shawn’s own real-life aunt and uncle, Ray and Faye Copeland.  The couple was sentenced to death while in their 70’s for a serial of brutal serial murders of men who lived and worked with them on the family farm.  The victims were buried on the Missouri farm after completing an illicit scheme with Ray that involved bad checks for cows that never existed.  

Mr. Granger’s other works include Innocent, Mr. Phelps Space Detective, Gene Gardens, and a new webcomic called Child Star Murders which is set in a very dark Hollywood.  Those will also be available for purchase at the King Tractor Press booth.  Readers are welcome to come by for artist sketches, signatures, or just to listen to stories of the crimes.
