May 26, 2010 - PRLog -- If you are wondering if you can file bankruptcy then the answer is yes! Only a certain number of exceptions will keep you from filing bankruptcy. The main reasons you would not be able to file bankruptcy is that you have completed a Chapter 13 case or your Chapter 7 case was dismissed (see Chapter Bankruptcy).

Now there are two options to take if you decide to file for bankruptcy. You can either hire an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney or you can try to attack it by yourself. Going into bankruptcy alone can be a very confusing and downright scary time in your life. Not only are there mountains of paperwork but the stress of all the research and long hours put in to prepare your case takes its toll. Also, your chance of success is actually lower if you take your bankruptcy case to court alone.

The easiest way to get through a bankruptcy is to consult with an experienced bankruptcy attorney. By coming into a free consultation you will be able to fully understand and discover which bankruptcy chapter is best for you and your family. By using a bankruptcy attorney you are more likely to keep your stuff and stop a foreclosure on your home or property.

The Bankruptcy laws have changed and we are just now seeing the results of the new bankruptcy law. The number of bankruptcy filings is still down more than 50% and many bankruptcy attorneys are suffering. Though this does not seem too talked about much in the news, there have been many lawyers who’s office what exclusively bankruptcy that are now having to do other types of law to keep the doors open.

The Bankruptcy Attorneys we use are not those attorneys. Our attorneys continue to be bankruptcy lawyers. They have adjusted to the new law and have discovered how to provided their clients with excellent service and still be able to pay their paralegals. To do this they have had to spend many hours of work learning the new bankruptcy law and many more hours redefining how their office operate. From what their yellow page advertising looks like to what the receptionist says to new clients. Also, many hours have been put into talking with the local bankruptcy trustees to make sure that everyone is one same page and to give the courts feedback on what is working and what is not working with the new bankruptcy law.
