June 4th 2010 Wilmington Delaware- Governor's Entrepreneurial Business Conference The Delaware Economic Development Office and the Delaware Emerging Technology Center will present the second annual Governor’s Entrepreneurial Business Conference on Friday, June 4 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. The conference will offer entrepreneurs, investors, and companies a broad range of networking opportunities, informational workshops.
The goal of the conference is to bring people together for a day of sharing valuable insight on current topics including the status of the former Chrysler and Valero facilities, new entrepreneurship tools, critical business resources and emerging opportunities.
Governor Jack Markell will deliver the keynote luncheon presentation. The winners of the Delaware Emerging Technology Center “Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 Boot Camp and Business Plan Competition Awards” will be announced.
Conference morning speakers and presenters include leaders from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Delaware Small Business Administration, the University of Delaware and Petroplus Corporation.
The afternoon session will feature successful entrepreneurs, information technology experts, angel and venture inventors, marketing specialists and educators who will participate in additional panel discussions. They will focus on a series of topics including: management and business planning; securing capital investments;
