"It has been a long haul, but we are finally able to break ground," reflected Fields of Grace Outreach President and CEO, Peter J. DeBartolo, Sr. "We've been planning and raising funds for over three years now and can begin with phase I of our building on the site," he stated further.
Fields of Grace Outreach has been reaching out to the youth and young adults of rural Schoharie County in upstate New York for over four years already by having other organizations partner with them to host events. Their organization targets five key areas to help develop, nurture, aid, and inspire youth and young adults in this northern area of the Appalachian region. By offering such programs as leadership training, life skills development, humanitarian aid, discussion groups, and healthy recreation, Fields of Grace Outreach is able to offer opportunities to young people to improve their quality of life and hopes for their futures.
"It's finally a reality. We'll have a home base from which to work and offer programs for the areas youth and young adults. It's an exciting time," added James Merritt, Vice President.
