Ms Friend brings an extensive resume in media sales from Ann Arbor’s former WAAM and WUOM as well as print experience at the former Ann Arbor News.
Dark Elf Entertainment, located in Ypsilanti and nearing the end of its first year of development, had quietly been conducting a search for an Accounts Manager who was from the Washtenaw county area and was familiar with print, radio and/or TV mediums.
Dark Elf ‘s Managing Partner Tony Dixon states, “We feel that Ms Friend’s knowledge of the area, experience, personality and contacts in Washtenaw give us a wealth of assets that will help to insure the success of our innovative and auspicious project (A2YP.TV). Her background in print and radio coincides with our plans to create media partnerships in those two areas, much along the lines of the Free Press-WWJ partnership.”
“I’m passionate about the broadcast medium. It is a very powerful means of communication requiring responsibility in content that can affect and change lives. Internet TV is a new frontier and I’m looking forward to building on the background that I have in print and radio. We will be able to provide an affordable opportunity to start-up companies and established businesses to raise their brand recognition,”
A2YP.TV will be accessible via any Internet provider. It will begin its first year with a public domain video-on-demand (VOD) library, as well as original Washtenaw county based content such as ‘The Business Spotlight ©’; ‘Mega-Pixel©‘
