Peripheral artery disease (PAD) continues to be a leading cause of death in the United States. New Cardiovascular Horizons will look at the creation of a hospital-based PAD program, and the role it can play in a community, during the Hospital Administrator Forum, to be held on Thursday, June, 3, 2010. NCVH is a four-day multidisciplinary cardiovascular conference taking place June 2 – 5 at the Roosevelt Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New Orleans, La.
The Hospital Administrator Forum will offer a wealth of information to healthcare professionals weighing the pros and cons of a PAD program. The targeted audience includes hospital CEOs, COOs and CFOs, as well as cardiovascular product line managers, cath lab directors, cardiologists, vascular surgeons, podiatrists and nurse managers.
This session is designed to offer insight for hospital administrators on the financial impact of a successful PAD program as well as the community impact of preventing amputations. Key learning objectives will include information on how to set up a PAD program; maximizing reimbursements;
