Rob Coats, of Columbus, Ohio and New York, New York, has been named a 2010 MicroEntrepreneur of the Year by Increase CDC, Columbus, Ohio.
Coats was nominated by other community leaders for the award in recognition of his ability to use his skills in creating genuine and authentic connections with other people in order to find his own success.

Coats is founder of 80/20 Marketing and the visionary behind Connect Your Life, LLC (CYL). Author, philanthropist, and community activist, he teaches entrepreneurs, young professionals, and youth to maximize their business networking abilities by creating and nurturing their connections. A successful mortgage broker and network marketing entrepreneur, he is becoming this generation’s definitive expert on building, growing, and leveraging strong relationships.
Through his CYL foundation Coat’s vision is to turn 100,000 young professionals into entrepreneurs by empowering them with his vision and challenging them to focus on creating jobs for other people instead of working for someone else. To date in 2010, Coats has already been a featured speaker at over 20 centers and colleges delivering his message of increased personal branding, business networking, and professionalism while continuing his mission to show that it is possible to be both young and successful, legally.
