We grow'em, we pickle'em we jar'em and we sell'em.
To this point our little hobby has turned into a full time job for my family. We started this to help my son's college fund. Working on the weekends. We had an old family recipe from my great great grandfather, from the civil war, for which my great, great uncle President Abraham Lincoln use to send to the union troops. Simply because they didn't spoil and the army liked them. President Lincoln liked them too. After the war my family used the money from the civil war and went into full production of Mickle's Pickles and sold in small stores throughout the country in a 12 ounce tin can from around 1865 to 1890. After that each and every generation always named their pets micky and made tweaks to the recipe. After so many changes it lost it's luster and was not desirable anymore.
When my father was passing away he said to me I always wanted to resurrect this recipe and he gave it to me " He was to busy providing raising six kids to do anymore". I took this over 100 year old recipe and followed it to a tee. After the first batch was done people went mad calling us for more. So much that we had to take every inch of our farms and go into full production of the kirby cucumbers that fuel the initial taste of our mickles pickles. We decided in 2009 to start growing all of our crops vertically. Because there is no yellowing and give a better snap and taste. We are the only people that take pickles from start to finish... We grow'em, pickle'em, jar'em and sell'em!! We thank all of our customers because where my little company is now, would never have been possible without your tastebuds trust and support. You will never know how much we appreciate all you have done! The Lincoln's
